It is often said that in self-defence, you should use open hand techniques to reduce injury. Whilst that is a good principle to follow, there are times when these closed fist techniques are the best option and this video shows you how to throw them correctly so as to reduce the likelihood of injury to yourself and maximise the impact on your attacker.
